INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF RESEARCH AND INNOVATION STUDIES (IJRIS)

Mr. Isaac Boakye,
Associate Editor and Journal Manager, Academic Quality Assurance and Journal Management

Mr. Isaac Boakye is an Associate Editor of the Rudolph Kwanue University Journal of Research and Innovation, with responsibility for quality assurance.
Based in Accra at the Accra Institute of Technology, he serves as Head of Research, Community and Business Development, and lectures in the Business Department in Business Research Methods, Community Sustainability, and Business and Society. He is also an adjunct lecturer and thesis supervisor at Ghana Communications Technology University, and previously lectured at the University of Applied Management. He holds an MPhil in Leadership and a BSc in Marketing, both from the University of Professional Studies, Accra.
His research interests lie in public policy and leadership, leadership in community development, and educational leadership and management. He has published on ethical leadership and its antecedents, employee job involvement, and student perceptions in Ghanaian universities, and has contributed to funded research for INCLUDE in the Netherlands and for the Congo Consulate in Ghana.
Much of his daily work is methodological. He trains students and faculty in research design and data analysis, working in SPSS, STATA, and R. This is largely what he hopes to contribute to IJRIS, particularly on the quality assurance side, where careful attention to method and reporting is what protects a journal's standing.
